12 & 24 VOLT 160 AMP VOLTAGE SENSING SPLIT CHARGE RELAY. Ideal for Automotive, Marine, Winches and 4x4's etc.

Heavy duty 160A max load. Voltage Sensitive - self switches when optimum charging voltage is reached. Can be connected to the starter motor circuit to offer starter assistance - the relay connects the leisure battery and vehicle cranking battery in parallel to provide additional voltage when the vehicle battery is low.

Not like a conventional relay - this is micro processor controlled and constantly monitors the vehicles state of charge in order to prevent under charging of the vehicle battery and overcharging of the secondary battery. If the vehicle is laid up for winter and the secondary battery connected up to a mains battery charger - This Battery separator will close and contact to the vehicle battery offering battery conditioning and charging to the vehicle battery - Ideal if the vehicle is laid up for long periods of time.
